I purchased the 2.5 ton Black Aluminum Tie Rod and Drag Link to replace the stock versions, along with a Falcon Nexus 2.2 steering stabilizer and mounts. After hours of reading reviews and watching install videos, Apex Chassis met all of my requirements.
Unboxing and preparing the Tie Rod & Drag Link for installation on my Jeep Gladiator Mojave I am 100% confident that these Apex Chassis parts will handle anything I can throw at them.
The quality of materials, strength & durability, as well as the fit & finish are testaments to work done by Apex Chassis.
It appears that the surface is not an ordinary coating and is quite durable. After installation, the steering is very smooth, and combined with the dust boot, the craftsmanship is impeccable.
These tie rods are top notch. Every aspect is top quality and they shipped them fast!
Definitely an upgrade from OEM and at a great price.
First off, the customer service was over the top, shipping was mind blowingly fast.
Apex absolutely met all my expectations, hit all of the check boxes. The side-by-side quality is night and day compared to stock. My front end fills super dialed, stiff in a good way, no more play, making my all-wheel-drive Escalade feel like a NASCAR, truly impressed.
Do not buy the Amazon junk, look no further, invest in the best out of the gate. You will truly feel the difference!!!!
As every product you guys make for my truck is is perfect you guys had a perfect product with the old style and made a even better product with the new version which I had to have the look the handle the rigidness of the whole system is top tier
Components fit like they should and are much stiffer than stock.
I upgraded to a Rusty’s Offroad 1 3/4 HD steering kit on my 08 JKU and this clamp enabled me to mount my Falcon Nexus pass through stabilizer, exactly as Apex described in their description. Don’t forget with the Falcon the hex head is underneath the clamp so it’s all backwards threads to unmount the Falcon clamp and mount the Apex.
I’m very happy with the apex steering parts so far. They are heavy duty, easy to install and easy to adjust. Would definitely recommend them if you looking for high quality parts to put on your truck. Only time will tell how they wear. The oem ford steering parts lasted 190K. Thanks Apex.
I daily drive my jeep as well as trail it fairly hard. I chose apex because I needed something that will withstand the abuse. Both the tie bar and drag link have done very well. Replaced both about 30k miles ago as I was running yeti but I broke their 1 ton drag link. So I switched to apex and havent had a single issue with it. Very easy to install and adjust. Have duty build and they look nice overall. Running a 40" tire and 5.13 gears i demand alot out of these parts. Top tier in my opinion
I run a small dealership and we had a truck come in with some apex parts under it. We needed to replace some and they turned out being obsolete. They gave us a great discount and shipped everything out quick. We will use again!
